Surprise surprise, I'm back
It feels like forever since I left, I'm back
In this dark and lonely land, full of obstacles and traps
It's the strangest terrain, will I ever make it back?
Now I know just where to find you, I know where you will hide
But I don't know how to reach you, you've gone so deep inside yourself.

But now that I'm back, this faded photograph
looks to be the future but reminds me of the past
You'll never feel at home, you'll always be alone
Just wastin' away on your planet of storms.

This tunnel goes deep before the end, my friend.
But it's not too late to leave, you are free to go
'Cause I've been here once before and I thought that you should know
Now I don't remember much, but how could I forget the haze?
To feel as if there's nothing you can do about the phase you're in.
